Changsha Education Exhibition Concludes Successfully|AINOPOL Empowers the Digital Transformation of Education

From October 30 to November 1, 2026, the 88th China Education Equipment Exhibition themed "High-quality Development of Education Equipment Driven by Artificial Intelligence" grandly opened at Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The exhibition gathered enterprises, technology vendors and professionals across the education sector. Participants exchanged views on digital education development, smart campus applications and IT innovation, exploring new trends and opportunities for education informatization.

As a technology enterprise specializing in all-optical networks and converged communications, AINOPOL was invited to the exhibition. We showcased two core solutions: District & County-level Education All-Optical Network and Campus All-Optical Network, delivering simpler, converged new ideas for smart education construction.

I. Opto-Electric Converged Full-Coverage Campus Network: One Optical Network to Restructure the Smart Campus

On campus, the rapid growth of teaching, administrative and management services brings mounting pressure on networks and application systems, mainly reflected in four pain points:

  • Network congestion undermines teaching and class inspection: A single live-streaming class may clog the whole campus network. 4K class inspection feeds suffer stuttering and pixelation, disrupting supervisors and daily teaching activities.
  • Isolated systems with poor interworking: Monitoring, public broadcasting and conference systems run independently without unified linkage. Devices and data resources cannot collaborate efficiently, failing to meet comprehensive campus management requirements.
  • Slow emergency response and delayed alerts: In emergencies, it is difficult to push instant notifications across broadcasting screens, large displays and mobile terminals, hindering on-site information delivery and emergency handling.
  • Complicated O&M and scattered device management: A campus hosts massive wired, wireless and IoT devices with separate management portals. It is hard to gain a unified overview of device status, and disputes often arise when faults occur.

To tackle these challenges, AINOPOL rolled out the campus all-optical network and audio-video scheduling solution, balancing network deployment and practical business needs:

  • Simplified architecture, full coverage over one optical network: PON passive optical splitting architecture extends from the core equipment room to classrooms, offices, dormitories and cameras, with fiber reaching desktops and teaching rooms directly. It breaks the barriers of traditional networks, cutting energy consumption by 30% and weak current space occupation by 80%. Optical fiber boasts a service life of over 25 years. The passive design is naturally immune to electromagnetic interference and eco-friendly.
  • Multi-service convergence on a single network: No more siloed "chimney-style" construction. The core optical gateway comes with native audio-video processing capability, supporting telephony, broadcasting, surveillance and IoT services without extra servers. Standardized examination room renovation can be finished within just one day per classroom with a single fiber deployment.
  • Visual audio-video command & dispatch for efficient campus governance: School administrators and education authorities can conduct online class inspection, broadcast voice announcements via visual platforms. The system also supports one-touch SOS alarm, multi-party video conferences and anti-bullying linkage, enabling prompt response without on-site presence.
  • Long-distance power supply via POF to break the 100-meter limit: To resolve wiring difficulties for outdoor security cameras on safe campuses, the opto-electric composite cable technology delivers 60W power at 200 meters and 15W power at 800 meters, overcoming the power and distance constraints of copper cables.
  • 7-layer security protection to secure the network baseline: AINOPOL Dream Gateway M1 integrates IPS intrusion prevention and AV antivirus engines. It supports fine-grained access control and whitelist authentication (e.g., DingTalk authentication to prevent unauthorized student network access). With end-to-end encryption, real-name authentication, 6-month internet log retention and built-in firewall functions, it supports identity management and cybersecurity compliance in line with Decree No.176 for schools and education authorities.

II. Three Value-added Scenarios for Campus Daily Operations

Three demonstration scenarios presented at the exhibition drew wide attention:

  • Office Command & Dispatch: Stable network support high-definition video uploads, enabling regular live recording, interactive teaching and remote expert scheduling between principal offices and general offices.
  • Emergency Linkage for Safe Campus: Integrated with Wi-Fi, campus broadcasting and SOS buttons. Once bullying, medical emergencies or natural disasters occur, pressing the SOS button triggers automatic pop-up of nearby camera feeds on the dispatch console, pushes video streams and location alerts to security terminals and activates on-site evacuation broadcasts for rapid response.
  • Support for Large-scale Events & Examinations: For sports meets or national college English tests, wireless cameras and mobile broadcasting devices can be deployed rapidly. Electronic whiteboards, recording systems and audio pickups connect seamlessly to deliver dead-zone-free video monitoring and unified announcement playback that meets standardized examination room specifications.

III. One All-Optical Network to Connect Regional Education Resources

For district and county education bureaus, education informatization covers numerous schools and teaching sites under multi-level management. Widely distributed schools with uneven network foundations require shared high-quality educational resources while unifying network standards, service capacity and post-operation maintenance.

The digital divide between urban and rural schools makes it critical to extend premium teaching resources to remote sites and realize unified regional network planning.

AINOPOL District & County Education Bureau All-Optical Network Solution builds a three-tier converged all-optical framework covering education bureaus, central schools and satellite teaching points to realize unified planning and deployment:

  • Unified regional planning to upgrade network infrastructure: The all-optical architecture connects education bureaus, central schools and teaching sites, eliminating inconsistent construction standards and providing a unified bearer network for regional education platforms and teaching services.
  • Extended coverage to boost resource sharing: Supporting 20km long-distance reach without repeaters, the solution connects remote teaching points and facilitates cross-school courses and remote teaching, expanding access to high-quality educational resources.
  • Centralized network management to improve regional O&M efficiency: The EAAS cloud management platform provides centralized monitoring and remote control of network status across all schools, cutting manual inspection workload and helping education bureaus gain full visibility of campus network health.
  • Guaranteed core services and optimized user experience: Deep traffic identification and intelligent flow control prioritize bandwidth for key services, easing congestion during peak hours and improving resource utilization for teaching and administration.
  • Simplified deployment and maintenance for better fiscal efficiency: All-optical networking features fast deployment and low failure rates with unified O&M. One single network carries multiple education services, avoiding redundant construction. The solution improves capital utilization by approximately 60%.

IV. Cost Reduction & Efficiency Enhancement for Construction and O&M

Whether for regional all-optical networks under education bureaus or campus all-optical and audio-video scheduling systems, the design addresses immediate connectivity needs as well as future expansion, device management and long-term maintenance.

With unified architecture planning, existing cable reuse and centralized O&M, AINOPOL helps education institutions eliminate redundant investment and maximize network value:

  • Cut redundant construction and reuse existing resources: Unified standards reduce repeated investment. Legacy optical fibers and terminals can be reused. Bulk procurement reduces hardware costs by 20%-30% to achieve more with limited budgets.
  • Centralized management lowers daily O&M burden: Unified management on the EAAS cloud platform slashes labor costs by 70%. Devices support plug-and-play; even non-full-time staff can handle routine maintenance, ending disputes from multiple vendors.
  • Passive architecture for low long-term maintenance: Passive optical networks reduce energy consumption by 30% with a fiber lifespan over 25 years, avoiding the risk of infrastructure becoming outdated shortly after deployment. The overall TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) drops by more than 50%.

From the "one optical network" on campus to the "one-screen unified management" at education bureaus, opto-electric converged technology is reshaping smart education.

The Changsha Education Exhibition has concluded, yet our exploration into education digitalization continues.

Going forward, AINOPOL will keep delivering simplified architecture, green design and robust security, empowering more regions and schools to build future-oriented digital smart education infrastructure!
